FAQ
What type of firewood or charcoal should I choose?
The right choice depends on how you plan to use it. For pizza ovens and BBQs, hardwood firewood such as oak, beech, or hornbeam, as well as high-quality lumpwood charcoal, provides strong, steady heat. For home heating, dense hardwood logs burn longer and deliver excellent heat output.
Is your firewood kiln-dried and ready to use?
Yes. Our firewood is kiln-dried to a low moisture content and is ready to use straight away. All our firewood is certified Ready to Burn, meeting UK regulations for clean, efficient burning. Kiln-dried logs produce less smoke, generate more heat, and are suitable for wood-burning stoves, fire pits, and open fires.
Do you offer delivery across the UK?
Yes, we offer delivery across the UK mainland. Delivery options and estimated times are clearly shown at checkout so you know exactly when to expect your order.
Can I buy firewood and charcoal for home use or in bulk?
Absolutely. We supply firewood and charcoal for both home use and bulk orders, including households, restaurants, pizzerias, and other commercial customers. All our products are responsibly sourced from managed forests, supporting sustainable forestry while ensuring consistent quality.
How fast is delivery?
We know that running out of fuel can stop your plans or even your business in its tracks. That’s why we aim to get every order dispatched within 24 hours of receiving it. For smaller parcel deliveries, you can usually expect your charcoal within 2–3 working days. For pallets, we deliver within 3 working days. In urgent cases, we’ll always do our best to help with express arrangements. Restaurants in particular value this speed, because it means no last-minute scrambles to keep service going.
